A tool for mental wellness...

Mental health is an integral and essential component of health. The WHO constitution states: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." An important implication of this definition is that mental health is more than just the absence of mental disorders or disabilities.

When under stress, the body prepares itself with a fight or flight reaction, involving the brain, nervous system and hormones.   For many the effects may be minor but others may experience  behavioural and other problems including anger, aggression, self harm and withdrawal.  Chronic stress has long term health effects.

The IMPACT Wellbeing Programme uses a range of simple, adaptable and effective relaxation techniques to improve mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
